Irwin Guitars “Wine Country”
“Wine Country” Master Luthier Doug Irwin

“Wine Country” – 2021

Irwin Guitars “Wine Country” handmade by Master Luthier Doug Irwin
Wine Country was started in 1993 at “The Art Farm” in Sonoma, CA. where Rosebud was built. It was started after Wolf Jr., and the body was possibly cut at the same time. Both Wolf Jr. and Wine Country are a hybrid of Wolf and Tiger/Rosebud. While the horns are shaped like Wolf, but with deeper cutaways, the body and lower bouts are the same shape, and dimensions as Tiger/Rosebud. They also both utilize a set-neck design like the Tiger/Rosebud guitars that Doug Irwin built for Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead.
